Yesterday was April Fool's Day, and I didn't do anything for anybody. Chances are I was all fooled out, as I'd spent the last several weeks trying to hide Brooke's (then) impending bridal shower from her. I even went so far, the night before it happened, as to lie to her and tell her it was the following week. She got so mad that I spilled the beans that I slept on the couch that night. So I was in no rush to fool anyone again so soon. The party, by the way, was lovely and now I'm drowning in cool shit for the home. Coffee makers with automatic timers kick the shit out of percolators.
So the great exercising experiment has been superceded by the great "Sitting on your ass watching last week's video of 24" experiment. Actually, I still have plans to continue with it, but I've been very excited in the last few days by my proclomation that, by the end of 2003, I shall have written a published comic book. I have plans in the works. Certain plans that I shall elaborate on if all goes according to...uh, plan. If that doesn't work, I have backups of EPIC proportions.
Why am I so keen on writing a comic right now? Because I need some money like nobody's business. On thr bright side, though, the honeymoon is now completely paid for. I'm also going to the Slow Kids show on April 25, so if you are too I'll see you there.
Nothing funny will come out of this war. Except for this.
