I find myself reading more and more liberal blogs and news sites lately. I guess I just love being outraged. Thankfully, the administration seems to be doing a pretty good job of destroying themselves, so us Dems shouldn't have too much work to do in the fall, which is good, because we hate work and loves the hand-outs.
I do have to share, however, possibly the funniest political thing I've read in a while, and I only share it because I think it will appeal to the sense of humor of a lot of my friends. The Republican National Committee recently released an online game called Kerryopoly, which seeks to show how hard it would be for the average person to achieve the lifestyle of that mean, rich John Kerry. Now, check out this section from the AP article. This is a direct quote, now.-
"Three leading Republicans in the federal government — President Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist of Tennessee — are multimillionaires. Asked Tuesday if their lifestyles also were out of reach of most Americans, RNC spokeswoman Christine Iverson responded "no" but declined to elaborate."
Did you see that?!? "No." That's fucking awesome. I'm going to start using that. "Hey, Justin, didn't I ask you to get that story in by yesterday afternoon?" "No." Walk away. My life is going to be so much better now.
Posted by Justin at June 03, 2004 01:13 PMI hate internetspeak but I was LOLing picturing those guys just sitting there, saying "no," and staring down the interviewer with blank expressions.
Posted by: Deuce on June 4, 2004 10:58 AMI was actually picturing you when I said I thought people would enjoy this. It's almost that bone-dry British kinda humor we enjoy. What an uncomfortable moment THAT must have been, huh?
