So yesterday was my two yar wedding anniversary with the lovely and talented and awesome Brooke. To celebrate, we turned a cool one-time occurence into a tradition and went and got New Orleans food at a new restaurant on the Newburgh waterfront. A good time was had by all, except the dog, who got left at home. But she got her revenge on us later by interrupting us while we were trying to play a game of Scrabble on our new deluxe set with the lazy susan.
So I enjoyed something this weekend I never thought I'd enjoy - I mowed my lawn. If you have any doubts that I'm a suburbanite, let them now be dispelled.
In my continuing chain of posts where I talk about how I enjoyed something people have been enjoying and talking about for a really long time (TM and copyright, bitches!), I played Katamari Damacy for the first time this weekend, and spent the rest of the weekend measuring things and trying to figure out if I could roll them up. Awesome.
My chapter of Gift Horses is up now! Check it out!
Yes, I know I still have to do those lists of things about people...it takes a backseat to life. Sorry. Seriously, sorry. Eventually it'll happen. :)
In the meantime, there's some exciting Book of Shenanigans news. ever on the cutting edge, BoS has decided to do something highly experimental for this chapter - instead of unrelated posts on one topic, all six BoS writers will be writing chapters of a single story, and the story will evolve in ways we can't even comprehend.
My part in this science experiment goes live tomorrow, but in the meantime prepare yourself by reading Wolf's opening chapter and Styx's highly surprising second chapter.
Then check back tomorrow when I introduce a new character, take the story in a new direction and still try to leave room for three more installments. It's gonna be hotttt with four t's!
